The National Treasure of China: The Giant Panda
Pandas are my favorite animals! They are the national treasure of China and are loved all over the world. Here's what I know about them:
1. Appearance
Pandas have a unique black and white coat, which makes them look like "bamboo bears." They are fat and cuddly with a short tail. Their ears, eyes, and legs are black, and their trunk is white. They can only take black-and-white photos because their fur is only in these two colors. When holding bamboo, the green of the leaves adds a lovely touch to the picture!
2. Habitat and Diet
Pandas live in bamboo forests in China. They are herbivores and mainly eat bamboo shoots, roots, and flowers. They spend most of their time eating or sleeping, and they can climb trees but are not very active in high places.
3. Conservation
Pandas are rare and were once only 1,590 adults in the wild in 20xx. Now, we protect them with special laws. They are a symbol of China and are enjoyed by people worldwide.

Baby pandas are very small and sleep with their mothers.
